an independent scoring desk for AI tools

Find. Verify. Choose with confidence.

Vouch scores AI tools from public arena data, review-crowd aggregates, published prices and the vendor’s own contract, never one editor’s opinion, never a vendor’s claim. Where the evidence does not exist, the card says so instead of guessing.

How a score is made

  1. 1

    Measure

Public arena preference data, review-crowd aggregates, published prices and four clause positions from the vendor's own terms, collected on a dated run.

  2. 2

    Gate

Documented billing or trust problems cap the composite, so a pretty tool with an ugly refund record carries the record in its number rather than around it.

  3. 3

    Label

Every score ships with a confidence grade; thin evidence is flagged and unmeasured dimensions say so.

AI Image Generators

Full category ledger →

Every image tool on this page is held to one measuring stick: public arena preference data for output quality, review-crowd aggregates for usability, verified pricing, and four clause positions read off each vendor's own terms: who indemnifies whom, what the paid tier lets you own, what the free tier permits, and the published refund position.

Why another directory?

Measured, not vibed

Output quality comes from public preference arenas with thousands of blind votes, not from how a tool felt to one reviewer on one afternoon.

The contract is a dimension, and the billing record is a ceiling

What the vendor's own terms permit (which way the indemnity runs, who owns what you make, what the free tier allows, what a refund requires), is scored as its own dimension from a saved copy of the document. The customer record sits outside that: where billing complaints, refund fights and support silence are numerous enough to carry weight, the Vouch Score holds the composite under a ceiling instead of averaging the problem away, and a buyer meets that ceiling on the card.

Honest about uncertainty

Thin evidence is labelled, an axis we cannot measure is never estimated, and no tool ever scores a perfect 100. Confidence ships with every number.
